Pet licensing and microchipping of cats and dogs
Registration of cats and dogs is required in the City of Cedar Park. Licensing and microchipping your cats and dogs are the best ways to ensure that you will be reunited with your pets if they stray or are lost. You may register your neutered or spayed cat or dog at the Cedar Park Police Department, located at 911 Quest Parkway, for a nominal fee of $5 each. Licenses for intact cats and dogs are just $10 each. If preferred, Cedar Park Animal Control Officers will come to your home and microchip your cat or dog for just $15. (Please note that only cash payments for the exact amount due are accepted at this time.)
