Before coming to Cedar Park in 2010, J. P. LeCompte obtained his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2005. He immediately entered private practice in Denton and the surrounding north Texas counties, representing individuals, business entities, and municipalities in both litigation and transactional matters involving real estate law, including foreclosures, landlord/tenant, homeowner associations, eminent domain, and property taxes, as well as consumer and collections law, and Mr. LeCompte served as the municipal prosecutor for several north Texas municipalities. Mr. LeCompte also holds Bachelor of Business Administration - Management and Master of Business Administration degrees from Texas A&M University.
