The Library offers Free access to numerous databases for patrons of all interests. Read the brief descriptions below and follow the links for more detailed information.
Digital Content
The Cedar Park Public Library provides access to digital content including downloadable eaudiobooks, ebooks, music and video as a free service for our library patrons. All you need is a current Library account in good standing (less than $5 in bills). The checkout period is 14 days for ebooks, 7 days for audiobooks. After it expires, the item will automatically check itself back in, so there are never overdue fees!
Library Elf
The Library is now on Library Elf! This website allows you to get pre-overdue notices by email saying which of your items are due soon.
Try this wonderful resource: an easy-to-use job database that you can search freely on the Internet, either in the library on one our public access computers or from home/any Internet-connected computer. Thousands of jobs at your fingertips!
Think of the TexShare Databases as your own virtual library. Its electronic “shelves” are stocked with encyclopedias; reference books; literature; medical information; technical, business, and scientific journals; and even current event newspapers and magazines.
Tumblebooks is an on-line library of animated, talking picture books which teaches kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. Also, included are educational games, puzzles and comprehension quizzes.
