Jose Madrigal joined the City of Cedar Park in 2004 as the Assistant to the City Manager. In 2006, Jose was promoted to Assistant City Manager of Community Services overseeing the following departments: Library, Parks and Recreation, Information Technology, Municipal Court, and Public Information. Prior to working for the City of Cedar Park in 2004, Jose worked for the City of Lubbock as the Assistant to the City Council. Jose holds a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Tech University.

Originally from the central Texas area, Jose and his wife, Devon, and young son, Duncan, reside in the Forest Oaks subdivision of Cedar Park.
