The City logo mosaic project began as a part of the Cedar Park Bydee Festival. The family oriented art festival focuses on celebrating community and diversity. The mosaic was featured at the festival to allow our community to come together and have a hand in creating an art project. The four foot diameter mosaic project consists of approximately 10,000 pieces of glass tile. The project began at the Cedar Park Bydee Festivalon September 27, 2008 and was completed on November 3, 2008. The mosaic will be displayed in the Parks & Recreation Office until the Recreation Center opens in July 2009. The project will be displayed on the entry wall to greet the community as they enter the Recreation Center.
